NARRATIVE OILS

My narrative oil paintings follow a dual track. On one they portray the anxiety of the human collective condition. On the other they are a visual diary of my fears, wishes, and dreams. The style is realism that leans toward caricature and often, like a chef adding exotic spices, I add bit of surrealism to create mystery and complexity. Thus, the painting becomes a puzzle to provoke, entertain, and hopefully delight the viewer with irreverent humor.
